Helene Miller Walsh began her career at American National Bank in Commercial Lending in Chicago. She then spent several years at Evans Fur Company, in a variety of roles across Marketing, Design and Wholesale Sales. Helene went on to found Whim Wham Books, where she served as CEO, creating and selling a line of gift books which she sold around the world to major national retailers and small retail shops. Helene is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Leenie Productions, LLC, a multi-media production company.

Helene has a long track record of success in philanthropic endeavors.  Helene helped chair several campaigns for Northwestern’s Prentice Women’s Hospital through her role on the Board of Friends of Prentice, and was the Co-Chair of one of the most successful private school annual campaigns in history at The Latin School of Chicago. Currently, Helene serves on the Board of Advisors to Project H.O.O.D., an organization dedicated to ending gang violence in the city of Chicago and developing economic opportunities, as well as the Haym Salomon Center and The Black Policy Center. Helene was raised in Chicago and lives with her husband, former Congressman Joe Walsh, nationally syndicated radio host and host of The Joe Walsh Show on Newsmax TV.  Helene and Joe reside in Mundelein, IL. Between them they have five children.
